Users can search for Transactions using a variety of different criteria. Use the sidebar to select the Transaction icon.
Select a Card Pool and the date of the Statement Reference from the dropdown list. These two categories are the minimum criteria for a Transaction Search.
If known, users can search for a transaction using the unique Transaction Id or Deployment Id. The Transaction Id is assigned by Conferma when the transaction is processed in CSP. The Deployment Id is assigned when the Virtual Card Number is issued.
The Narrative enables users to search for a transaction using specific terms – this is usually the merchant name.
Selecting a Date Range confines a search to transactions processed within that period. Dates can be selected from the pop-out calendar or entered manually into the field.
Typing the Last 4 Digits of the Virtual Card Number will retrieve all transactions charged to that VCN.
Searches can also be narrowed down to Transactions that have already been matched to a Deployment, an Invoice or both (Reconciled).
The default search option is Both for all three criteria, as displayed below.
NB. Once a search has been conducted, SNAP retains the criteria from the most recent search for future searches.
Search Results contain:
Id - the unique identifier that Conferma assigns to each Transaction.
Date - the date on which the Virtual Card Number was charged by the merchant.
Narrative - this is usually the name of the merchant.
Card – the last four digits of the Virtual Card Number used to settle the Transaction.
Matched – The icon indicates that the Transaction has been matched to a Deployment.
Unreconciled Amount - The icon indicates that a Transaction has been fully reconciled (i.e. matched to a Deployment and an Invoice). Any Unreconciled Amounts are displayed in black and indicate the difference between the Transaction Amount and the total value of the Invoice created.
