Hotel Booker features the option at company level to warn clients and agents about duplicate bookings.
If users attempt to process a booking for a traveller who is already saved under another booking on that date, a red warning box appears advising the user of the traveller conflict.
The user can proceed with the booking regardless of the conflict by selecting click here.
Conferma needs to be advised if this functionality is required. Details of the room booking can be viewed by clicking on the chevron .
All bookings are date and time stamped. The GDS locator and hotel booking reference are also displayed under Office Use Information. Where the agent requires e-mail confirmation of the booking, Conferma will always issue a confirmation e-mail. Faxes will always be sent for bookings where Conferma Settlement Platform or Billback to Agency is the payment option.
For bookings guaranteed to a credit card via the GDS, faxes are NOT sent. Faxes are always sent for offline bookings, however they never contain credit card details. If a faxed booking confirmation to a hotel fails, an e-mail will be issued to the pre-assigned e-mail address within the agency. The fax can then be resent via Conferma.
