Once the guest you wish to amend has been selected, click on Amend Booking.
The Cancellation Policy is always displayed.
Hotel Booker will then return to the Booking Summary page where the Arrival Date and/or number of Nights can be amended.
A warning is issued, prompting you to Update the rates to ensure the correct availability.
The details of the original rate are displayed above any Online rates displayed for the new rates.
Select the Online Rate.
On the Booking Summary page, the Outside Travel Policy reason may be amended. If applicable, the Custom Data Fields can be updated.
Select Finish.
Conferma updates the GDS and issues new confirmation messages where applicable.
This screenshot illustrates that, although the dates are different for both rooms, the bookings are both on the same Conferma reference number.
If there is no online availability, Conferma will only display a Guide Rate. However, Hotel Booker provides the option of calling the hotel directly by displaying the telephone number.
If the amendment is available directly with the hotel, the booking can be made offline. Add the correct date manually into the system by selecting the Add a New Rate link.
You will then be prompted to enter the details of the new rate.
The Booking Summary then permits the name of the contact at the hotel to be entered.
When Finish is selected, confirmations of the booking amendments are issued to the booking contact and the hotel.
N.B. It is important to note that the PNR is not affected by these amendments. Any notes regarding the amendment must be made manually to the PNR.
