The new SNAP comes with improved beautiful analytics, brand new reports, better invoice reminders and more. These tweaks make for a refined experience within the SNAP dashboard and set the scene for more flexibility around how you customise reporting.
Here you will find a high level overview of the key new functionality.
1. Overview & Analytics
A beautiful new analytics page gives a high-level overview of your card pools, broken down into various data sets.
VCN Usage
The segment below displays an overview of deployments and transactions on the card account, for two weeks prior and two weeks ahead of ‘today’. The graph will remain static to these dates, whilst the rest of the data on the overview page changes if you configure the dates at the top of the page.
To the right of this graph, a list of any booking platforms you have used for the card pools selected, in the specified date range will display. The number of deployments and percentage of the total deployments from each platform is displayed here.
The values displayed below the graph give you a high-level view of:
- Number of deployments within the specified date range
- Total deployment value for the specified date range
- Number of transactions within the specified date range
- Total transaction value for the specified date range
- Documents received within the specified dates
- Invoices received within the specified dates
These tabs are interactive, so you can click on them to see the details.
Deployments by Platform
Further down the page, SNAP provides an auto calculation of the percentage of deployments created for each type. You are given some further analytics for Air deployments, which include a visual display of the spend by carrier, as well as the ‘Top Routes’ to give you an intelligent view of current trends.
TripPay Analytics
This section displays the number of travellers that have upcoming trips within the specified date range, the location of that trip will show in blue on the interactive map. You can also see how many of the travellers have access to TripPay, have viewed the VCN in TripPay, and how many have registered for TripPay.
Traveller Activity Feed
This feature gives you visibility of new and updated deployment data for individual travellers. This is an interactive feature, you can click on the activity to see the related deployment details.
2. Reports
SNAP 6.0 offers a variety of reporting options. Some of the key benefits of these options are:
1. There is the flexibility to run the Transaction reports on both a user specified date range (up to three-month periods), and on monthly issuer statement periods.
2. There are three TripPay report options:
a. All User Report – A Report showing all TripPay users that are linked to deployments for specific card pools
b. Trips Commencing Today – A Report detailing all TripPay users with linked deployments that have a check in date of today.
c. Trips Ending Today – A Report detailing all TripPay users with linked deployments that have a check out date of today.
3. The Standard Deployment Report, and Standard Transaction Report can be customised:
Report Customisation can be accessed by the link at the bottom of the Reporting sidebar.
There are 2 default reports highlighted in blue which can be customised by the user, these are Standard Transaction Report and Standard Deployment Report.
Select Create custom report. Name the report. Move the columns you want to include across from the list provided, (you can click fast-forward to move everything across and remove the ones you don’t want to appear, or move the columns individually). To reorder the columns, use the arrows to move them up or down. When you’re happy, click Customise.
Here you will see a display of the columns that you have created in ‘edit’ mode where you are able to make amendments.
You will also be presented with a preview of the customised report.
3. Invoice Reminder
The User Interface for sending Invoice Reminders has been simplified in SNAP 6.0. The communication method where the original confirmation was sent is auto-selected. You can change this by manually adding an alternative email address or fax number. Click Change, and free type the new communication method, and Save. By clicking Send Reminders at the bottom of the screen, each supplier you have selected will receive an Urgent Invoice request.
4. Deployments
Search for Hotel Deployments based on Checkout Dates
There is now the ability to search on the checkout dates of a hotel stay. Select the Spend Type and Card Pool, and ensure the date range from the top criteria is left clear. Select Advanced Options and Select the Check-out Date Range for your search. This will bring back all records for these checkout dates, irrespective of the booked dates.
Tabular Layout
Within a deployment, the tabular view allows you to see easily whether there are any linked Transactions, Invoices, Documents or Notes. You can click into each of these to view the full details.
Add Notes
You can Add Notes to a Deployment, Transaction or Invoice. This functionality now appears in the tabs within the item. Select ‘Notes’ from the tab below the viewing pane. Here, you can free type your note into the text box, and ‘Add Note.’ The details of the author and a time and date stamp is also recorded.
Any Notes added to a specific item (Deployment/ Transaction/ Invoice) will be visible for any associated items. For example, if you add a note to a deployment, this will be visible in the notes tab for any transactions or invoices that are linked to that deployment.
