Remember - If you use Google Pay for personal spend then make sure to either change your default payment method back or select your personal card in Google Pay before paying.
You may want to change your default payment option in Google Pay before your trip to make sure you don't use the wrong card.
Your default card will be used automatically any time you hold your device near a contactless terminal. Alternatively, you have to open the Google Pay app and select the correct card each time you make a payment.
To change your default payment card, open the Google Pay App:
Swipe through your available cards and find the virtual card you want to use for your trip:
You can identify the individual cards by the last 4 digits presented in Google Pay and in the Conferma Pay app.
Once you have found the card you want to use, tap it to access more details and turn on the "Default for contactless" switch:
Your virtual card will now be used any time you hold your device near a contactless terminal.
You can follow the same steps at any time to change your default payment option to a card of your choice.
When your virtual card expires it will be automatically removed from Google Pay and the default payment method will revert to the first card in Google Pay.
