Remember - If you use Apple Pay for personal spend then make sure to either change your default payment method back or select your personal card before paying.
You may want to change your default payment option in Apple Pay before your trip to make sure you don't use the wrong card.
Your default card will be used automatically any time you hold your device near a contactless terminal. Alternatively, you have to select the correct card each time you make a payment.
To change your default payment method, open your phone settings and tap into "Wallet & Apple Pay":
Under the "Transaction defaults" heading tap into the "Default Card":
You should now be presented with a list of all the cards you have in Apple Pay, with your current default payment method selected.
You can identify the individual cards by the last 4 digits presented in Apple Pay and in the Conferma Pay app. Select the card you want to use for your trip:
The default card under "Transaction Details" should have changed to the name of your selected card:
Your selected card should now also be the first card displayed when viewing your Apple Wallet:
Your virtual card will now be used any time you hold your device near a contactless terminal.
You can follow the same steps at any time to change your default payment option to a card of your choice.
What happens in Apple Pay when the card is expired/removed? When your virtual card expires it will be automatically removed from Google Pay and the default payment method will revert to the first card in Google Pay.
